What is the penalty if I forget to bring my car's Official Receipt and Certificate of Registration (OR/CR) while driving?

If your vehicle is properly registered but you fail to carry the physical proof, the LTO fine is ₱1,000. However, if your vehicle is completely unregistered or the registration is expired, you will face a much heavier fine of ₱10,000 and possible vehicle impounding.
