Use the octane rating recommended in your owner’s manual. Most everyday cars run well on regular unleaded (RON 91), and premium fuel won’t make a noticeable difference for them. Premium gasoline (RON 95 or higher) is only needed for engines that require it, like many turbocharged or high-performance cars.
