What should I remove or cancel before handing my car to the buyer?

Remove all personal belongings, your garage or gate remote, and any parking stickers. Settle or transfer any remaining RFID load, and inform your insurance provider about the sale so you can cancel or transfer the policy. Keep photocopies of the signed Deed of Sale and the buyer’s IDs for your records.
